Installation Lingo...

Being in the installation for 40 years has taught me a lot about people throughout the country, talk to them and make sure they understand what it is you are doing when you start your installation. First thing we do is get with the right person who can tell us the proper elevations as doing it the way the plans show is not always what the customer wants. Talking with the customer to make sure he knows what you are doing covers you having to do it over again. When setting up the starter bay one should always put all the beams and wire decks in then level and square the bay before anchoring it down. Then go to the customer and show him what his rack system will look like, alot easier this way as both parties know what to expect.
